e-Connect platform: important updates ahead!

EL.MO. announces a new series of important implementations regarding e-Connect, the centralization, management and supervision cloud platform. 

		Licensing The introduction of the new services on e-Connect requires the update of the service conditions relating to the platform and, starting from Monday 29th June 2020, users will be asked to accept the new system conditions. Installers and distributors will be able to create their own service contract scheme: this allows to regulate the relationship with their own customers (installers and end-users respectively).
		Inputs display associated to areas' sectors A more intuitive and structured representation of the sensors connected to their related sector of the respective area: the structure status of the system is thus more immediate, instantly revealing the configuration overview.
		Integration of AURA within e-Connect and thermostats management It's available a firmware update for AURA keyboard that further implements the e-Connect platform integration. What are the new available functions?
		Programmable thermostat activation from BrowserOne, for hourly temperature programming    Command output configuration via BrowserOne in order to make it comply to the programmable thermostat    Enabling of the winter mode (boiler control) or summer mode (air conditioner control)                      Enabling of the daily or weekly mode    Threshold programming    Threshold scheduling on choosen dates and times
		Furthermore, it is possible to manage the programmable thermostat integrated on the new version of the AURA keyboards, which allows the management of heating or air conditioning systems divided into zones. To take advantage of the new features, it is necessary to update the PREGIO, VILLEGGIO, PROXIMA and TITANIA control panels as well as the AURA keyboard.
		e-Connect integration with IFTTT These and many other commands are now reality, thanks to the new integration between e-Connect and the IFTTT platform! The web service transfers the functions to e-Connect according to the "If This Then That" mechanism: if a certain event occurs, the system performs a certain action. It will be possible to create infinite combinations and rules to automate the most useful and frequent activities, facilitating commands management and saving time!
		e-Connect integration with the new thermal pannels The new AI facial recognition panels with body temperature reading functions, PROICF01TC and PROICF02TC, are now integrated into e-Connect! Thanks to this integration, through InstaVision® service it will be possible to receive instant notification in the presence of people without a mask or in a feverish state, allowing to safely interact with them!

The e-Connect App as well has been introducing new relevant features in order to face the new implementations of EL.MO. cloud platform. Let's see in details what are these new improvements!

Acces through biometric data

An important feature that further increases users' e-Connect account security consists in the authentication through biometric data, when opening the application and accessing the account. At the first access it is necessary to allow biometric authentication using the "Settings" (or similar) menu of your smartphone.

The type of authentication available (fingerprint, facial recognition or others) depends on the employed device.

Talk-back audio

Talk-back audio is a saund function that allows dynamic voice interaction between the smartphone and the camera and vice-versa: this feature allows the two devices to communicate in real time. The two modes are distinguished by two different icons:

		Through this button users can speak from the camera's speaker: the sound is repeated from the smartphone's speaker.
		Through this button users can speak from the smartphone's speaker. The sound is bi-directional: it gets repeated from the cameras's speaker and it's possible to speak while still listening.

All cameras and DVRs that have audio inputs and outputs (MIC IN, MIC OUT or integrated microphone/speaker) are compatible with this feature.

We also remind the availability of the "Audio Playback" function, that allows, by connecting a microphone to the camera, to listen to the audio during the video playback display.
In addition, it is also available the "Live Audio" function which allows in real time to listen to the sounds detected by the camera.

e-Connect App integration with AURA keypad, thermostats management and the new thermal panels

The aforementioned intengration between e-Connect platform and AURA keypad (firmware update version 1.4), programmable thermostat management and thermal panels with body temperature reading functions, PROICF01TC and PROICF02TC, is also availbale via App, as part of the further implementation of e-Connect platform!

The e-Connect app grants the access to the user account directly from smartphone or tablet, allowing to configure the programmable thermostat now managed by AURA. It is also possible to manage the programmable thermostats, which allows the management of heating or air conditioning systems divided into zones (PREGIO, VILLEGGIO, PROXIMA and TITANIA control panels, AURA keyboard update required).

The new thermal panels as well thanks to the integration with e-Connect, through InstaVision® allow to receive instant notification throught the e-Connect App in the presence of people without a mask or in a feverish state, allowing to safely interact with them!
